Arcane Roots ARCANE ROOTS can now announce their very own UK headline tour throughout July, their first since August 2011. Support comes from Australian 4 piece ME (all dates apart from Manchester and Glasgow). These dates follow a busy live period for the band which included a UK tour with Twin Atlantic, dates with AWOL NATION, Hit The Deck festival and Liverpool Sound City (with Alkaline Trio). ARCANE ROOTS will also see the reissue of their debut mini album ‘Left Fire’ on their brand new label Play It Again Sam (Enter Shikari, Young Guns) on June 11th. Brand new single ‘Habibity’ will also be released on June 11th, and the brilliant band directed promo video can be seen here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuGDWWWSK84 The band are currently writing and rehearsing for tour and album recording, which will begin in August, with the release date of their debut (and as yet untitled) album set for early 2013. "They've pulled it off brilliantly..The five main tracks here tie together perfectly to create a sprawling work that's a joy to explore and get lost in. The end result is a beautiful, breathless and brutal mind f**k." [Kerrang] "There are so many genres blended together on this new album from...Arcane Roots that it's almost impossible to describe their sound...One thing's for sure; the quality rarely dips and the delivery is captivating".[Rocksound] “Arcane Roots sound so fresh, special, and deliciously unpredictable. Wherever they go next... It’s sure to be a fascinating listen.” [Rocksound] 8/10 ME Relocating to the UK in 2011, ME have spent the last six months supporting Kasabian, Evanescence and Death From Above 1979 as well as touring with Panic! At The Disco and recording with the legendary Barny Barnicott (Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, The Temper Trap) and Grammy Award winning engineer Ian Dowling. The results of the latter excursion can be heard on Another Story High, a six-track mini album that suggests ME are one of the most exciting new rock bands to appear this side of the millennium. Trails ' Trails have an exciting, original sound and could have a bright future if they follow up on the promise shown here.' - 8/10 Rocksound 'This is a promising start from the band that are not yet a year into their career. It’s a well-structured and well-rounded release that very few artists who have just started out can boast about.' - 9/10 Dead Press! 'TRAILS' debut collection shows off their talent for crafting frenetic, mathy punk pop. Vast close-harmony choruses and terrifying hooks are doused in inflammatory party bile. An incendiary band with a bright future.' - 4/5 Punktastic 'Wrapping sweet melody and frustrated lament around the kind of jinking, angular alt-rock riffage that keeps Biffy Clyro in haggis and kilts, there's a frank agenda of serving up difficult truths.' - 3/5 Kerrrang!
