Moon Carr Put his original Christian lyrics to a catchy beat playing from a sound system. Carr was one of six competitors for Gospel Outbreak Finale 2010 at the Aquadome gym on Sept.25. A Crowd of about 75 watched from stands, cheering each performer. Singers and a dancer followed Carr, performing in front of a panel of judges and hoping to win. The Mood was a little like "American Idol," minus the contrived drama and bad-mouthing. The series is an opportunity for youth to share the gospel in song, dance or other performing arts, said Sharone Balentine, who sponsors the event with her husband Gary.”
