Vocalist Evelyn Rosenthal, whose Caminhos Cruzados plays Brazilian music and jazz, and Acton Jazz Cafe mainstays, vocalist Linda Roberts and pianist Molly Flannery, have put together an exciting tribute to the music of Sergio Mendes. The show features music from Mendes's Brasil '66 years and his Grammy-winning 1992 "Brasileiro" album. With Steve Kirby, guitar; Hiro Honshuku, flute/EWI; Jason Davis, bass; Bertram Lehmann, drums, and João Martins, percussion.
