From the Festival website: Deep Roots Festival 2010 will take place on the full square block of downtown Milledgeville on October 23, 2010. The gates open at 10am. DEEP ROOTS FESTIVAL is a cultural arts and music festival that is located in historic downtown Milledgeville and showcases local, regional, and national talents, artists, and vendors.     The Smokin' Summer Southern Rock Super Jam features performances by Jimmy Hall (lead singer and co-founder of Wet Willie); Tommy Talton (founder/guitarist/singer/songwriter for Capricorn Records' group Cowboy and guitarist on Gregg Allman's "Laid Back" album, the Gregg Allman Tour album), and Tommy Crain (long-time guitarist for the Charlie Daniels Band and co-writer of many of the Charlie Daniels’ Band hit songs, including “Long Haired Country Boy” and “Devil Went Down to Georgia”). All three Southern rockers will perform with The Crosstown Allstars whose members include Jack Hall (bass, backup vocals / and co-founder of Wet Willie), Bob Rumer (guitar, lead vocals), Bob Jones (keyboards, lead vocals), and Towson Engsberg (drums). Tommy Crain, Tommy Talton, and Jimmy Hall will each perform a set with The Crosstown Allstars, followed by a Super Jam at the end of the night! (There will be no opening act since there are 3 sets scheduled - so arrive early!.) Don't miss some of the southeast's finest musicians and legends on one stage!
