KT was born in Chicago and raised in East Memphis. He started rapping in 1992. It wasn't until 1996 when he decided to start writing rhymes and freestyling with friends at school. In 2004 in New Orleans, KT linked up wit Houston producer G.P. of Mo Midi Music Group to record his first album "TK Reversed". In 2006, KT enrolled into SAE Intstitute of Technology in Nashville where he began his study as an engineer and began recording his second album, "TK Re-Reversed". Upon graduation, KT made his label official, and in 2007 Smiles Down Ent. LLC was born. KT is also recording and engineering Mac Sleepy's second album entitled, "It Iz Wat It Iz" with Blue Flame Ent.
