Bio
Formed in 2004 The I.Z.A. played only a handful of shows in their native New Hampshire before initially parting ways. In the summer of 2007, guitarist Chris Plotzyck and vocalist Daniel Profitt decided to give The I.Z.A. another shot. Since then The I.Z.A. have been playing on some of Boston's most well known stages and all over the north east.
Their horror themed debut is an epic meditation of the after effects of the apocalypse as told through the eyes of a lone survivor. Chock full of guts, hooks, and soaring sing-a-long melodies the album is balanced out by a heavy sound and punctuated with thoughtful piano interludes showcasing the band's range and versatility. It was recorded at Galaxy Park in the spring of 2008 and was produced by Richard Marr.
