Originally from southwest Virginia, but residing in North Texas for the last fifteen years, recording artist Tioga Dan Sloane has become known as a "guitar-slinger extraordinaire". Being the second most famous musician to come out of Tioga Texas, Dan admits it would take some doing to surpass Tioga's favorite son- Gene Autry.
