3 years of punk rock later, Throb Zombie is having their final show ever. Always a crowd favorite, Throb Zombie's original music strikes a chord with your inner old school punk, and the high energy on stage leaves everyone wanting more. The final show is FREE at Yucca Tap Room on Friday the 13th this December. If you've been to see a Throb Zombie show before, you know you want to see the last one ever, and if you're a new face, you don't want to miss this! There will even be a secret special guest. Throb Zombie has some friends in some of Phoenix's best original bands filling out the night: Mr. Mudd & Mr. Gold: http://www.facebook.com/MrMuddMrGold Mr. Mudd and Mr. Gold were born in Phoenix, Arizona during The Great Dust Storm of 2012. From the dirt and wreckage emerged a bastard child of country, blues, Appalachia, bluegrass, and rockabilly that wanted nothing more than to kick your ass. You like getting your ass kicked, don't you? Then come see Mr. Mudd & Mr. Gold. I Was Told There'd Be Whiskey: http://www.facebook.com/iwastoldtheredbewhiskey Out of the ashes the mighty Phoenix rises... Or some overly dramatic bull shit like that. After the amicable end of their previous musical endeavor, Mickey Kawa, Zach Shipp, and (a mostly unwilling) Kevin Shumway decided to turn their efforts in a more Southern direction. Mickey had the songs, Shumway had the skills, and Zach...well all of Mickey and Shumway's stuff was already at Zach's house, and it would have been a real hassle to find somewhere else to practice. All they needed was a second guitar player who could handle his ax like a lumberjack. When they couldn't find one they opted for Zach's roommate Chris Stylen, he did own a slide after all. And thus, I Was Told There'd be Whiskey was born Black Mountain Moonshine: http://www.facebook.com/blackmountainmoonshine Black Mountain Moonshine is a five piece band of misfits, their sound is a eclectic combination of Punk Rock, Folk & Bluegrass.
