About
Kevin - Kevin is the drummer and sings lead. He played drums as a kid, and
started learning Jazz and Marches. Fortunately, he got over that, and went on
to classic rock in Windsor and Detroit. Somewhere in his colorful past, he
learned to sing, which is fortunate for us. Kevin is a former member of the
Ditch Pigs.
Leon - We're proud of Leon, our bass player. He is a wicked singer both lead,
and harmony. He also plays a mean guitar. Leon has been in many bands, and
has toured extensively. Before us, he survived a Kiss tribute band. He knows
his way around stringed instruments, and is a generally colorful individual.
Gordy-Ray- Gordy-Ray does a wicked Bon Scott, and plays a mean guitar. He
has been playing for years, and was also in the Ditch Pigs and Next to the
Moon, both Red Deer bands. Fortunately Gordy took his playing expertise and
brought it to Thoz Guyz, where he has been a stalwart member. He also sings
AC/DC and harmonies.
Doug- Doug is also a wicked guitar player, and he knows all those signature
guitar lines you grew up hearing. Doug also can sing, and does a wicked job
complementing Gordy-Ray's guitar, and rounds out the vocal harmony. Doug is
also a gifted sound technician, and frequently heals our sound problems. Doug
previously played with Steel Blue, a well known band from Red Deer.
Bad Dog - Bad Dog is the token keyboard player. He has studied classical and
jazz piano in his younger years, and now has the distinction of being the only
one of Thoz Guyz not given a microphone during performances. He has his own
peculiar and sometimes unappreciated brand of humour, which may include playing
Girl from Ipanema between classic rock numbers. Bad Dog previously played
with the Ditch Pigs, and previously arranged piano music for a local production
of "Grease". He also received international airplay for his co written song,
"You can't fool the shit flies", which earned an appreciative audience in Italy
prior to hitting North America.
