Thorn's Musical Journey is a roots-rock band from Edinburgh. In April 2009 we released our maiden recording, "Broken Sword," made in seclusion on the Isle of Mull. And Oct. 1 promises the digital-only release of our high-energy live album. Stay tuned for "Live in Edinburgh" and a video for "Jewels" from the Mull recording.

TMJ has added two new folk to the roster. On drums, Rory Macdonald, also drummer for Windlestray, and on acoustic bass, James Whyte, a great muzo and former chairman of Out of the Bedroom. Still getting our first rehearsal together, but there is much excitement. Looking forward to December gigs.
