About
"To avoid suffocation keep This Product away from babies and children"
In five years of hard fun and creativity, the north Manchester trio have honed a sound and performance that is jagged, professional, enjoyable and unique. Tours supporting Antiproduct, Dogs D'Amour and the Meteors being, aside from anything else, an education in the workings of ground-level music business and promotion, the band have bolstered these efforts with regular shows around Greater Manchester, Wales and Carlisle.
With a bold musical design of 'entirely accessible yet utterly challenging', the band succeed, with each new EP release, in getting a little closer to this goal. A recipe of hard rock, 50's bebop grooves, abstract poetry and frantic punk, the incongruous members of the group bring their differences together to form a fresh and solid sound, described as punk-bop, or 'Frantica', the local music scene.
This Product's myspace website is averaging 150+ plays daily, and have recently finished their new record, 'Red Eyes in the Sunset'. 'Red Eyes' is available now, on 1000Watt records, a small label run by Dave Naylor (Purple Effect, Aniseed), with whom the band are currently working, though not officially signed.
Planning the Spring season with new material and hopes for an extensive support slot touring the UK, This Product will utilise their recent successes online, and fast-growing support in Manchester, as the music becomes ever more unusual, and ever increasingly enjoyable.
