1. A wild carnivorous mammal, which is the largest member of the dog family, living and hunting in packs. It is native to both Eurasia and North America but is much persecuted and has been widely exterminated.
Thus, THE WOLVES: a dangerous gang of seductive, rapacious, ferocious, voracious, debaucherous fiends, on the hunt to feed their many insatiable hungers... all the while howling blue murder in strange and dissonant tones... an unholy din unfurling up into the night sky; into the lonely black spaces between moon and stars.
