Boundary Tap & Kitchen Raumati will be hosting this years Kapiti Summer Rock Fest featuring over twenty rock bands on the 6th and 7th of December. Performing bands will fit the 'Rock Music' genre. There is a variety within the Rock, Pop Rock, Blues Rock and Hard Rock styles of music providing a plothora of excitment for rock music lovers. Each evening will start with the lighter acoustic or varied style in a dinner seating environment and progress into the heavier realm of rock later in the evening. Music fans will be deligted with this years Kapiti Summer Rock Fest lineup said event organiser Reuben Price. "We have many highly accredited Wellington based bands travelling to perform at the event. Often when a band tours they will skip Kapiti. Combing these artists with our local talent will allow Kapiti music fans to enjoy hours of back-to-back great quality performances". Event organisers of the Kapiti Music Festival started the Kapiti Summer Rock Fest last year. Due to musical success and good audience numbers organisers decided to create an anual event. This will be the second time this event has run and applications have been overwhelming causing organisers to expand on last years event by adding a second performance stage. "We are very privilaged to have secured The Boundary as the venue for this event. It's the largest venue of this type in Kapiti enableing us to host big bands and large audiences. The multi stage venue will enable two bands to perform at any one time" said Price.
