“The long awaited follow up album to Millions. Overall a more jazzy oriented 'bill of fare', which fits fine with me and the genre, the haunting re-occurring theme is upbeat and spirit lifting. The tenor sax voicing has a Getz like quality....and while on the subject of haunting, 'Void' should have Dracula dancing in his coffin. Long Gone' as the title intimates, allows us to immerse ourselves in an extended three part 'suite' based on the 'Shu'up' track theme. The title track 'I'm Here', is a dancer with a cool simple one line message, and their supporting Video could give them their 2nd shot at the NME video award. 'Shu'up' takes the theme to another level with more percussion and some elevating soprano sax from Robin Welch. 'Rash' gives a topical nod towards the middle east with some dramatic horn effects and dexterous plaintive sax. 'Long Gone' and 'Long Gone Reprise' has unique moments of musical fantasy, with Nick Welch delving into his Disney-esque box of tricks.”
