“The band’s new project, available on iTunes and CD Baby, was released in August, and was a long time coming. “We’d been talking for two or three years about putting together an album with our songs on it, so ‘It’s About Time,’ seemed like an appropriate title,” said Thompson. The new six-song CD contains two studio tracks and four live tracks. “We wanted people to know what we sound like live without a lot of studio gimmicks,” said Thompson. The album’s first track “Baby, Baby, Baby,” was written by Trammel and the others were written by Thompson, though he says his band-mates contributed much to the final arrangements of the tunes. In addition to Thompson and Trammel, lead guitarist/vocalist Dan Junk, and Larry Bullock on drums/percussion complete the four piece country-rock act. “Dan is a brilliant musician who plays numerous instruments,” he said, making the project a “joint effort. I thought these six songs fit well together.” ”

“In a suburb 20 minutes south of Atlanta, in the town of Newnan, Ga., Thompson's boyhood home (which, incidentally calls country superstar Alan Jackson one of its own) sits on the Wahoo Creek. "I played there every day as a kid," he said. The roots of the band's musical choices, and Thompson's original material, can be traced to his southern heritage, though the mostly-cover band transcends the typical country/Southern template to include covers from the likes of Jason Mraz and Green Day, among other contemporary popsters. "We built our set list from requests," said Thompson. "Every time someone would come up and ask to hear a song, if we didn't know it, one of us would write it down, and we'd learn it the next week."
