Bio
The Urban Retropolitan Movement is brainchild of Neal Conway (formally of the Original Basement Boy Music). Neal Conway was the musically foundation behind a number of the Basement Boys early major label hits such as: Crystal Waters (Gypsy Woman...She's Homeless, Makin; Happy). Most recently, Neal was blessed with DOUBLE Platinum & a 2007 ASCAP Award for his contribution to rapper T.I.'s Hit single "Why You Wanna". The URM is a fusion of Neo-Soul, Lounge, Jazz, Disco and Spoken-Word. The URM represents artists from the Baltimore Metro area with a couple of artists from the Tri-State area. This project features: Robyn Romele, Dana Weaver, Marshall Booze, Monica Jefferson & Neal Conway (who tries to actually sing).
