The Union Jacks began to coalesce in early 2006 when guitarist Eric Dolan (Scram/2 Ft. Taxi) and bassist "Karate" Bob Fallon (Scram/Jack's Smirking Revenge) decided the time was right to build a bigger, better, badass Rock'n'Roll ride. Armed with new songs, and some road tested classics, these two wily vets began to search for a drummer. A few false starts later, only one man stood tall. Enter Aaron Muirhead (The Other Woman/Rumblebox), a seasoned journeyman drummer. A powerhouse of percussion, Aaron infused the project with a renewed sense of vigor and rehearsals began in earnest. Working as a trio, The Union Jacks began to tighten up material, moved into their new HQ ("Big Orange"), and the Quest For Vocals was on! After a long line of oddballs, weirdos, and the odd odd duck, Jake Mobley (Midnight on Io/PSAT/Disaster Strikes) arrived on the scene. A youthful, exuberant, and talented singer/guitarist, Jake brings a powerful voice and presence to The Union Jacks. Now, The Union Jacks are about to bring it all to you!
