The Strangelings formed in 2007, when Pete and Maura Kennedy, aka The Kennedys, asked their opening act, Chris and Meredith Thompson, to make a special event of a show they were playing together at the Performing Arts Center of Easthampton (P.A.C.E.) in Easthampton, MA that January.
