By the spring of 2007 TSA were reduced three high school sophomores, Alex, Marty, and Brian. Brian invited his teammate, Kyle (current guitarist/lead vox), to audition as vocalist for the band, and he became the fourth and final member. Shortly thereafter the name "The Standard Affiliates" was adopted. Since then, The Standard Affiliates have played a dozen shows and written over a dozen songs.
