The Shakedown is an original rock and roll band drawing inspiration from American roots music.
After performing throughout New York, The Shakedown took a major step forward with their recent work in Memphis with Doug Easley (Wilco, Cat Power, The White Stripes, Pavement) & Sean Faust. The band completed a 14-track LP which was released in January of 2011.
