The Scandal is a three piece punk rock band from Hobart Tasmania. Formed  in late 2000 they have performed hundreds of heartfelt and sweaty shows and won over plenty of fans in the process. In late 2006 the band released their debut LP Never Hold To Shore which showcased their intense and somewhat eclectic songwriting. Almost completely devoid of chorus' the album is peppered with off kilter time signatures and schizophrenic mood changes. The Scandal's previous release was a split EP with fellow Hobart punks Stand Defiant. Both releases are available through Disconnect Records.
