"You are very good. I also appreciate the statement "We are a very noise friendly group, have no problem play'n @ low volume level" since that really is often a problem for us (we are a restaurant.)"

“May 14, 2012 Randall Rigsbee Managing Editor The Chatham Record Pittsboro, NC 27312 Re: Letter to Editor Dear Sir: “Y’all should have been there!” Saturday night alive at Mariah’s Joyful Jewel on May 12th for a wonderful evening of music and poetry right out of some downstairs club in Soho or The Village. Original Native flute and guitar music by Gregory Blaine and partner singer poetess Doilie Chandler was beautiful. Lou Lipsitz provided fantastic harmonica support and read original poetry from two of his published books. Senior country road and barnyard poet Bennet Myers read a random group of his poems which contained the “out of the blue” flavor of old time North Carolina. All this with a sip of wine and a taste of bread for free, unless you chose to drop a suggested fiver in the hat for the marvelous performers. Can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday night alive in downtown Pittsboro! Captain Bob Cathcart ”
