    Details

Hobofest is an all-day free music festival “at the tracks,” celebrating American roots culture and the independent hobo spirit. Taking place on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, in the small mountain village of Saranac Lake, NY, the day showcases many of the area’s finest musicians paired with imported traveling veterans. The Historic Union Depot and Adirondack Scenic Railroad serves as the backdrop to the festival. A children’s activity booth is on site and the Adirondack Carousel is next door. Hobofest retains its grass-roots origins, and embodies the ideals and aspirations of small-town America. Having been fortunate enough to capture our community’s heart, we are committed to keeping the event fresh and we delight in surprising our audience with what’s next.

Q: Please try to book the Altamont Theater or Isis Theater next time in AVL. They both offer much better performer and audience experiences.
A: Hey, Brian. Thanks for the feedback, we will look into playing at those places in the near future. We also really love the places that we normally play!
