Bio
Veterans of local bands, open mic's and performance contests, Isaac, Ricky, and Stephen found that they had instant chemistry and within a few weeks they decided that they had to share their unique mix of Rock, Folk, Country and Punk/Alternative with others. After beginning their first recording project, Mistakes and All, they invited Drummer Amy Negus (Dartmouth, NS) to the group.
The Repercussionists debut CD, Mistakes and All was released in November 2008
About
Fans have compared the Repercussionists sound with such diverse artists as Pearl Jam, Blue Rodeo, Paul Rogers, and Chris Cornell. But in the end the Repercussionists are simply one thing - a rock band. Since the release of their debut recording, Mistakes and All, in November 2008, The Repercussionists have been playing to appreciative audiences in and around Halifax, NS. Their songs have been well received on college radio and streaming radio in Canada and the US, most notably on the March 2009 edition of the Earl Clifton Radio podcast. Beginning in August 2008, the band has been privileged to share the stage with popular local talents such as The Danger Bees, Old Wagon Whiskey, the David Bradshaw Band, the Gypsies, Ceti Alpha, Mary Stewart and many others. The second release, simply titled "The Repercussionists is a combination of modern influences infused within the band's traditional rock and folk base. Keep your eyes and ears open for a Repercussionists performance near you, as the band expands their repertoire and anticipates the future with optimism and just a tiny bit of amazement.
