The Redaction began when Andy Yates, Jared Lace, and Mike Jeter all found themselves looking for like-minded people to make music with. Andy had some songs, a bad amp, and a guitar. Jared had a sweet blue drum kit and some beat-up cymbals. Mike, a trained keyboard player, learned to play the bass. Things started small, but moved quickly.
