"Lorsqu’Alex, guitariste, et Yahya, chanteur, se retrouvent par hasard à l’aéroport de Montréal, leurs bagages pliés pour rentrer définitivement au Maroc, ils y croient à peine. Ados, les deux potes, pétris de grunge et de rock, jouaient ensemble sur les scènes lycéennes de Rabat. Devenus ingénieurs du son entre-temps, ils n’en oublient pas pour autant leurs premiers amours. “Dans l’avion déjà, on parlait de reformer un groupe”, se souvient Yahya. C’est chose faite quelques mois plus tard : Peppermint Candy voit le jour en septembre 2010. Le groupe sera en concert à Rabat le 18 juin à l’Upstairs, le 21 sur la scène du Bouregreg pour la Hit Parade, et le 25 à l’Institut français."
