Cackle and Caw

its A murder of crows circling
and the cackle and caw
I'd run to the great beyond
where the sun'd so brightly shown
my heart used to flutter and skip
at the possibility in everyday

I know I will hold my soul
the cackle and caw is at my door
my intentions are good thought they are coarse
they sleep like the dogs beneath the porch

black swans' ever changing song
will lead to people seeking patterns
the clouds come shorten these days
absolute is the minotuar in my maze
merchants miners travelers and thieves
these are a few of my favorite fiends

My skin toughens
the intrepidation lies with in
i remember how the sun once shown
and the murder of crows circle my home
