Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub and Tellus360 are again teaming up with the Lancaster Office 0f Promotion (LOOP) to ring in St. Patrick’s Day with an all-things-Irish block party – the King Street Seisiún (“session” in Irish). The 2nd annual event is scheduled for Sunday, March 15 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and will take over the zero block of East King Street, including a ticketed area (for 21+ only) spanning from Penn Square and stretching to North Duke Street. The street will be closed for traffic from 8 a.m. -8:30 p.m. The event will benefit our return non-profits: The Junior League of Lancaster, The Lancaster Office of Promotion, and Music for Everyone. In addition we’ve added a few new ones: The Lancaster City Alliance, and more to be determined. Like any true Irish session, the King Street Seisiún will feature great live entertainment, food and, of course, beer! Fly Magazine is the official media sponsor of this event. Entertainment: 11 a.m. – Opening Bagpipe Seisiún (Jon Heller of the Kilmaine Saints/ Lochiel Emerald Piping band) 12 p.m. – The Ogham Stones 4 p.m. – Fire in the Glen 5 p.m. – The Kilmain Saints DJ Edge will be on hand all day to provide music as well. Rounding out the entertainment schedule are dance performances by the Hooley School of Irish Dance, bagpipers and as well as tailgate games provided by Fly Magazine, our official media sponsor. Also, special appearance by the 2014 Atlantic League Champions the Lancaster Barnstormers! Beer and food: Attendees will purchase special tokens to use at the Seisiún for your favorite Irish beer & food. You can add some tokens when you checkout (you can add them on the check-out page after you enter your billing info!!!) and they’ll be ready for pickup when you come to the event! Or, you can purchase tokens at the event at designated stations. Beer – Two beer trucks will be parked tapping Irish favorites Guinness Stout, Magners Irish Cider, Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale, Guinness Blonde Lager, and Harp Lager. Liquor – We’re excited to feature the Irishman Whiskey and Irishman Whiskey Irish Coffees. In addition, we’ll be featuring Irish Red Bull drinks on site. Food – Annie Bailey’s will serve a variety of Irish dishes, including shepherd’s pie and bangers and mash. Tellus360 will be offering their Irish Stew and Chicken Curry. In addition to the ticketed area, both Annie Bailey’s and Tellus360 will remain open to the public throughout the day for normal business!!!! Sláinte!

"It was a blast to have a fine band like The Ogham Stones support us at Tellus360. They're very powerful and forging their own style in Celtic Rock. I'm sure they will be a success. And also - so great to have Amanda come on stage and sing 'Livin' In America' with us. Girl sure knows how to put a man in his place!!! Good luck to The Ogham Stones and I hope we get to play with them at least one more time before Nov. 15th."
