Dave, Nick, and Matt began playing together in March of 2007, originally doing covers of bands such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine. In May of 09, they got together and began to write music. After writing a few songs, they decided to make it official, took the name "The Narrow Door" and began their search for a singer.
