The Muckrakes are an Alt-Americana band from the backwaters of Hampton Roads / Tidewater Virginia. Formed in 2008, the band has quickly become a regional favorite. Their energetic live shows and original music has garnered them music nomination(s), praise from the press, their fans and venues.
The group has found the right combination of sweet and sinister, of power and weakness, of new and old by staying loyal to their roots of the past and branching out to the new.
