About The Moot

The Moot are a band from the UK and play an eclectic mix of reggae, funk, pop, r&b and blues that has been described as "reggae influenced urban folk ". The Moot formed initially as a duo in August 2005 with Clare on electric guitr and vocals and Eryl on drums. They have had an amazing journey so far playing over 100 gigs in many different types of venue, appearing live in a glass box on the BBC for a total of 11hours, playing live on BBC Raw Talent Radio Show, Came Overall 3rd in a National Battle of The Bands Competition and have played to 3000 dancing and Bouncing people at Thimbleberry Music Festival in Co Durham.

The Moot have had many tracks played on BBC Raw Talent, South West Sound AND Radio One Radio Stations, and a Big Thank you to all the podcasters that have played our songs.

The Moot are occasionally joined by The Associates.

Their Passion for good catchy uplifting songs, combined with amazing energy levels and excellent musicianship make them one of the best LIVE acts around.
