The Moodies came together in late September 2011 in Manchester, New Hampshire. Traveling musician David von Schlegell met up with bassist Zac Carr and guitarist Nate Grant at a local music event over the summer. Zac's brother Sean joined in on drums and the current Moodies line-up was born.
