Bio
We look alright, but nobody tells us how. We usually smell fine...after a shower, and if you ask us for a favor you'll usually get it. However, once it's time to play, you'll never have a better taste of what's real. Don't ask us who we vote for. Don't pry about our religious views. The only sprits we’re gonna worship tonight are the ones in the tall bottle behind the bartender.
About
Enter the US Midwest-based, Mighty Short Bus, hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, USA. This five-piece rock band, formed in 2003, hit the scene with a mash-up sound straight out of a beer-soaked roadhouse on the wrong side of the railroad tracks and has been in a constant state of motion ever since. Over five-hundred shows since day one, (over 140 in 2007 alone), and a solid 2008 tour schedule ahead, the MSB has solidified a reputation as one of the hardest working and dedicated bands around. Currently touring their sophomore release, Rogue Nation, the band is using that same working philosophy to open new markets throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. An international release of Rogue Nation via the internet and over 300 radio stations has put the Mighty Short Bus on not only the leading edge of a working-class rock revival, but on the ears and minds of countless new fans every day around the world. The Mighty Short Bus takes its creative cues from influences such as the Black Crowes, Tom Petty, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Freddy Jones Band, Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the Rolling Stones to produce a sound that is familiar to the ear, original in design, and unique in its execution. As the buzz continues to build around Rogue Nation, the Mighty Short Bus is taking every opportunity to enjoy the ride.
...and if that doesn't do it for you how about:
The Mighty Short Bus is an original Rock/Americana/Southern-influenced band. Imagine the Black Crowes and Tom Petty being taken into a room and forced to watch CMT. When they're nice and re-educated, (a-la Clockwork Orange style), AC/DC shows up and kicks all their asses.
