Indescribable is the only word that can describe the sound of
future super group "The Love Meds." This multitalented  duo is the antidote
for an industry in dire need of exactly what the two Baltimore natives
possess. Currently wrapping up a mix tape entitled "A Tribe Called Fresh,"
the two are optimistic that it will guide listeners into a realm of what
their  debut album "Love Medicine" consists of. "The Meds" goal is to
present personal experiences to the public using a blend of Hip-Hop, R&B,
Neo Soul, and Rock & Roll.

           Consisting of Shawn "Supe" Simpson (Artist/Writer) and Rashad
"Nummy" Dickens (Artist/Producer), the two musicians share a host of
similarities which allows them to connect with listeners. Their relationship
originated in high school when a mutual friend suggested that they
collaborate. Not much came from the suggestion initially, until having a
class together made them realize that they not only shared an interest in
music but other facets of life as well. The two began to work on music
together with "Nummy" as the producer and "Supe" as the rap artist.

           As time moved forward and their music catalog began to grow,
"Nummy" became re-interested in the field that he left behind which was
wanting to become an actual artist. "I really wasn't focused on being an
artist anymore until I started hearing Supe kill the beats I was making. I
guess You can say he inspired me to get back behind a mic." states the
23-year old. He and "Supe" began experimenting with new sounds and within a
2 to 3 month period developed a host of original songs with both of them
contributing vocally. They decided to release a few songs via MySpace to
gain feedback and the responses were all positive, thus solidifying what was
merely an idea. "We didn't think that our little experiment would grow legs
but I'm not mad that it did." jokes "Supe" (21).

           Aside from buzzing in the Baltimore music circuit, "The Meds"
have tried their hand in song writing. They have recently created a
production/writing team called "The Cure" that consists of them and another
producer and writer. The only difficulty that the group has run into during
their journey is marketing themselves. Due to the versatility in the duo's
music, it is hard for them to be placed in a single genre. Nevertheless,
"The Love Meds" remain hopeful that listeners will identify with each song
on their album.
