Originally known as Principal Ruckus, The Killegal got his start spinning records and producing for an underground hip-hop crew called ABC (All-Terrain Battle Crew 2002-2004).  Originally a lyricist born from his poetry, The Killegal focused on making the right atmosphere for his slightly darker subject matter of his words he switched from turntables to a computer and midi to deliver the right sphere to his tunes.  Still using the same set-up, The Killegal uses his drumming or samples to get his new sounds in trip-hop.  He still continues his lyrical projects but has it put aside for his concept album, Polynesiac, which he has been for the past 2 years.
