Formed in 2006 by Andrew Dixon and Niall Murphy, THE JUICE quickly built a reputation for intense and catchy acoustic-driven songs. Both Niall and Andrew had previously played with experienced, hard working live bands(Godsuit and The Handsum Binmen respectively) and continue this tradition. Playing every opportunity they could, both as support and headline acts, they established THE JUICE as a must-see band in the Dublin area. Prior to the band recording their first album, drummer Stu Hennessy joined the band. His work with The Finest was legendary in the local music scene. With the addition of a beautifully driven backbeat to the already established dynamic of THE JUICE, the songs were brought to a new level of intensity. In May 2007 THE JUICE embarked on a journey that would change their lives forever. Travelling to London to record their debut with Lee Hirons at Shoreline Studios in Chelsea, THE JUICE found themselves surrounded by sights and sounds that would leave a lasting impression. Working over four days, they recorded an eleven track album, Chasing the Comfort, overflowing with catchy songs, melodic hooks, intense beats and extremely strong vocals. On their return to Dublin, THE JUICE started their mission to convert the masses. Gigging extensively they consolidated their origianl fanbase and bolstered it with their energetic live performances. THE JUICE were back in London in October recording 12 new tracks and played the legendary Trubadour club which was amazing. 28th of Sep is the day of reckoning people. The Juice are going to surrey to lay down tracks for their 2nd studio album, the name of which is sorted but im saying nothing yet, we all love surprises, so be patient! Lee Hirons will be engineering and mastering again which we are delighted about!
