The Issues – four guys who sound like ten, for the enjoyment of millions! Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, The Issues are a four-piece, hard pop/rock band, whose influences include, Green Day, Butch Walker, Iggy Pop, Lit and MXPX. Founded in 2004, the band has earned a well known reputation for its bombastic live performances and well received song writing abilities, the result of hundreds of shows and an unadulterated rock and roll agenda! The Issues line-up features: Wango on vocals and bass, “The Reverend” Jesse James on drums, and Ska-tay & Brother Geoff on guitars. The Issues recently signed on with Noteborn Music, in Ann Arbor, MI and Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, TN to license their music for upcoming TV and film projects. To date, The Issues have garnered both professional and critical recognition. The Issues member’s notable accomplishments include: self generated airplay in numerous markets, rotation on XM Satellite Radio, XM Satellite Radio-XM 57 Top 10 most requested 5 months running (featured band), Top 500 in Billboard Magazine’s Annual Song Writing Contest, featured on numerous compilation CDs and music samplers, FATBIRD Magazine’s 2005 Top 100 bands in Atlanta, featured artist on EA Games NHL Hockey 2005, songs featured on MTV’s Fraternity Life & Sorority Life and music on the Fresh Fish 3 surf video. The Issues worked with producer, John Briglevich who has worked with the likes of: Sevendust, Bowling for Soup, Outcast, Edwin McCain and Third Eye Blind, at his Sonica Studios in Atlanta, GA., on their newly released, “Alien Tattooed Lover” EP. In touring in support of their latest EP, The Issues were privileged enough to be entered into the Dave FM and Bud Select Battle of the Bands, in which The Issues won! In winning, The Issues were granted some studio time at the infamous Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, in which they were later signed to an indie deal through the studio’s label, Tree Leaf Music! The Issues are currently working with Tree Sound Studios in preparation for their full length album, which is set to be released in the summer of ’09!
