"The Hot Nothing, a budding 5 piece band from LA, was created in the beginning of 2010. It’s a little bit Jazz, pop, rock and blues, incorporating both original songs and standards with the intention to create interesting and catchy music that stimulates the listener. Their music has been called nostalgic, provocative, and romantic. The Hot Nothing recorded their our debut E.P. at Hardrive studios and released it in July 2010."

“We’d like to think the serendipitous story that led to the creation of The Hot Nothing had something to do with a mad scientist combining the DNA of Norah Jones and Fiona Apple to explain the how and why this band sounds as amazing as it does.
Jazz is becoming a lost genre among our generation and not too many people bother to wrap their mind around it. The Hot Nothing’s approach to it, with its cool and sexy sound, begs a closer listen.
Singer, Ginger Orsi and bassist Christin Dostalek are the co-masterminds behind The Hot Nothing. Their chance encounter on the Sunset Strip led to their musical collaboration and eventual relationship. Through its up and downs and revolving door of musicians, The Hot Nothing has endured to create a small following across the Los Angeles bar scene.
