Hello Phones is a new band from New York City. Living and creating in New York lends itself to certain inescapable influences, musical and otherwise. Hello Phones music crosses genres and scenes, and hopes to help blur those lines as much as possible, as this has become their approach to music. The band is currently recording their first album titled "Get it Together".

It’s that time of year when “drip” brings to mind the constant confusion as to whether air conditioning units are leaking on your head or someone is spitting out the window. Which isn’t what Hello Phones‘ “Drip” brings to mind, although there is something very summery, and, much like the air right now, very sticky about their synth filled song. There’s a nice balance, though, in the spiny, spiky guitars that roll in and out of choruses and the gentle vocals that stay grounded amidst the general atmosphere of the song.
Hello Phones are currently recording their debut album, due out later this summer. “Drip” is available through their website.”
