The Greg Luttrell Band is a maximum energy and highly diverse band. Rooted in the blues and soul music that shaped rock and roll, these fellas bring you on a sonic journey that has no bounds. After hearing old school classics like Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters and Little Walter, they kick out the Motown and Stax era music with ease. Reggae, Classic Rock, and Funk are all on the menu. I recorded a track with the Boston Horns a while back (Music is the Message by Brian Atkinson) and it's been featured on a Japanese compilation album called Return of Jazz Funk: Jazzfunk Never Dies (on P-Vine Records, Japan). A very cool 2 CD set, the 1st CD is old school, obscure jazzy funk and disc 2 is newer artists covering those old hot tunes...
