“After several months I finally went to see "THE GIRLS" headline at the Milkboy tonight. There were more bands and a few single performers than usual, but Adam and the rest of the Band Headlined. How nice it is to go to a coffee house and see teenagers so passionate about music...no booze, alcohol..just nice kids performing. It was a pleasure. Bravo to the Milkboy and Harcum MusicSchool for giving these kids a chance.”
“Adam Salemi, An 18 year-old School Of Rock student and recent high school graduate, started a band called, The Girls, ironically comprised of him and three other guys. The Girls play at local coffee shops and are talking to producers about recording a CD. "This influenced me to start music," Salemi said. "It got me out of some rough parts of my life. Music was my escape."”
