"The musicianship is stellar... in spots virtuosic. Greg Erba is a Gretsch master easily touching on a variety of styles from Dick Dale to Dwayne Eddy to Jimmy Vaughn blues. He's reason enough to pick up a copy of "Rock n' Roll Revival". Bassist Veikko Lepisto and drummer Perry Senn are also top notch players playing with passion and confidence throughout. But all of this would be meaningless without the sense that The Fulltones loved these songs and were having great fun laying them down. The only caveat here is that The Fulltones cover a lot of ground on Rock n' Roll Revival. There's some blues tracks, some surf tracks, some rockabilily tracks, even a song with a calypso vibe. So, if you're a listener with a narrow interest you may be choosing and discarding various tracks. For my money, variety is a plus.... and it's done with a sense of musicianship & fun. The Fulltones "Rock 'n Roll Revival" is highly recommended."
