“TheFive6 Last Minute Reservations (Self-released) Full-length of sunny pop from the local four-piece; mostly personal and/or inspirational lyrics delivered by the capable voice of Cathleen Ireland. Some '90s pop influences show: The second track, "Granted," reminded me of Des'ree's "You Gotta Be," and sometimes some up-beat guitar work reminds me of No Doubt's crossover. ”

The quartet, fronted by Cathleen Ireland Zilner, of Indiana, is currently giving a dollar to the charity for each new fan who likes them on Facebook, and in the coming weeks there'll be plenty of opportunities to get new fans. Plus, there's a debut album, "Last Minute Reservations," available digitally and on CD. "My word for what we do is acoustic-based pop," Zilner said. She handles the vocals and writes the songs with her guitarist and brother-in-law Jim Held, of Plum. Bassist Al Peden and drummer Jay Constable, both of Pittsburgh, round out the group. Her three bandmates are all professional musicians. "That's what I think really makes the band stand out," Zilner said. "This is all my guys do. … I couldn't ask for a better group of guy”
