Dictionaries define “the dt’s” as slang for a delusional state with tremors after a long bout of drinking. With The DT's, it’s about starting over. The “D” & “T” in the name stand for Darren and Tom. Darren Hurst and Tom Rouse are both singer/songwriters who met in the fall of 2007 and gradually started working together as a duo. They’ve both been writing songs for several years now. As accomplished, but as yet unpublished songwriters, they still work for the day that the right person hears their music. Just in the last year they’ve added a drummer, Dave McAlpine; Bassist, Rob d.; and lead guitarist, Rusty Miller.
