Born in Harare, Zimbabwe as Dakarai Martin Mshoperi, Drake has been a popular figure even before he began rapping and for this has gained massive street credibility from the local hip hop community. He is a talented producing artist who boasts of producing a number of well known rappers amongst the most popular Crackcaine and Fizzy only to mention a few. He released his debut album entitled Kon-Fuzed as he was still coming to grips with his own identity. His next album would be Son of The Soil which was about his troubled home country. He is well known for his love song "High School Relationships" which quickly spread among schools all across Zimbabwe. He is currently working on his next album to be entitled "i-Candy"
