Producer, Guitarist & Songwriter
My name is Troy Hendricks, but all my good friends call me The Deacon. I was born in Jamaica. I currently live in Manayunk/Roxborough. I’m a diverse Pharrell type producer. I have produced and co written tracks for Rock, Hip Hop and Neo Soul artists since 2002. I’m skilled both with MIDI and live instruments and have played guitar and bass semi professionally. I produce all my tracks using a combination of live instruments and MIDI to keep that human element.

Influences
I grew up on a steady diet of Jamaican Roots music; early R&B; old school Hip Hop (some new school);  Rock; D.C. Punk; English Underground music; Nigerian Highlife. Currently I’m listening to a lot of Classical, Middle Eastern, and Latin music; as well as Trip Hop. What can I say except I’m prepared to go to the next level if given the right opportunity.
