We're back at the Tin Angel, and we're psyched to be joined by the band "Dinner" as well as Singer Songwriter Kai Botak. We're introducing our new Trombone/Sax/Flute player Mark Horowitz. It's been a blast rearranging our songs to take advantage of the new-found range he brings to us. "Dinner" is a cool 4-piecel Prog Rock band out of Trenton playing with a cool mix of about a 60/40% vocal/instrumental range of songs. Influences include: early Genesis, Gentle Giant, XTC, Can, and Robin Hitchcock. Our opener, Kai Botak, is a singer songwriter born to Philadelphia, Pa and living coast to coast between her roots of Philly and the Cascade Mountains of Oregon who is just finishing up her second CD. She is a self taught musician and artist who refined her craft while trekking town to town across the country. Kai has traveled, performed, and written her way through the America’s blending her experience with the landscapes and her Gypsy lifestyle. This will be a fabulous night of music. Don't miss this!
