“Kirk Douglas and Brian Sanheim of The Crawl - a power trio that has "an old rock feel with a new touch to it" - have been in the industry long enough to have seen bands come and go, but they still press on. It's that drive that has gotten The Crawl airplay on Sirius XM radio, Howard Stern, Playboy TV and at home games of 19 NHL teams. "We don't sit on our hands and do nothing and wait for other people to do it 'cause there isn't that anymore," said guitarist and lead singer Douglas, who works as a producer at Sound Lounge Productions in Vancouver. "You have to be very motivated as a musician now." The guys in The Crawl say they want to make it better for the next generation of bands. "If you're getting into being a musician because you want to be a rock star, you're wasting your time," said Douglas. "If you're a musician and you want to play music, you should really love it."
