About
Hailing from just outside Boston, The Casual Lean are a band that creates dancy angular rock to put your pants on to. Being repetedly honored by Alternative Press as Unsigned Band of the Month (when AP only awarded one band per month) and Bands You Need to Know About in 2006, The Casual Lean stayed completely independent and kept working to write their masterpiece until Orange Peal Records signed them in early 2007. The Casual Lean have toured extensively along the east coast with bands such as TV on the Radio, Say Anything, Taylor Hawkins and the Coat Tail Riders, Men Women and Children, amongst many others, thus rendering the buzz around The Casual Lean quite palpable. The boys from Massachusetts can be found on the Bob Dylan tribute release entitled Paupers Peasants, Princes, and Kings: The Songs of Bob Dylan, with their rendition of Dylans cult classic Sara. The Casual Lean put the final touches on their first full-length album Swears and it bcame available for the world to enjoy in July 2007.
