More About The Artist

The CarbonAudio Effect, currently a 4-piece band from Charleston, SC is making quite a stir among those who have seen and heard them, including music promoters and executives who have said The CarbonAudio Effect is: "One of the fastest rising bands in the Lowcountry" & "The next big thing to come out of Charleston." This alternative rock band prides themselves on their unique sound and complex musical structure, their electrifying stage presence, and their ability to replicate in concert every musical nuance that makes their powerful albums so gratifying.

Having released 3 EPs since their beginning, and transitioned through many member changes, The CarbonAudio Effect has evolved into the sound they create today. With its members drawing from a vastly diverse musical background, The CarbonAudio Effect boasts a musical palette that would rival any mainstream band, giving them the compositional resources to create the sound that their fans have grown to love.

Although they claim to be influenced by such bands as Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Red, Falling Up & Skillet, The CarbonAudio Effect truly has a style of its own, fusing soaring vocals with refreshingly musical compositions to create their mature sound. With genuineness in their songwriting that is even more apparent in their live performances, The CarbonAudio Effect draws the inspiration for their songs from the many difficulties that individual members of the group have faced over the last few years.

Although The CarbonAudio Effect released their newest EP, "Rescue Me" on Apparatus Records, they are looking ahead to their much anticipated full-length album which will feature their single, already available on iTunes - "Revolution". The full-length album, "Revolution" is slated to be released in the Summer of 2009.
